For Cloud:

If there is /login string in URL:

  • URL contains /login string, it will redirect to QMetry Log in page.

  • If user clicks on Log Out , it will redirect to QMetry Log in page.

  • If system auto logs out (due to token expire case or anything else), it will redirect to QMetry Log in page.

If there is no /login string in URL:

  • URL does not contain /login string, it will redirect to the Enter OrgCode page. Click on Submit button.

    • If SAML Configuration is not available, it will give error message and stay on the OrgCode page.

    • If SAML Configuration is available, it will SAML Authentication page (if already authenticated, it may or may not directly login and show QMetry dashboard. It will not in QMetry’s control)

  • If user clicks on Log Out, it will redirect to QMetry Log in page.

  • If system auto logs out (due to token expire case or anything else), it will redirect to the Enter OrgCode page.

  • If there is error authenticating SAML user (e.g. SAML user does not have default project assigned, role assigned or user with same email already exist, etc.), it will show error and navigate to QMetry Log in page.

  • SAML Autheticated Users should use URL as https://testmanagement.qmetry.com, they will  be directed to the below screen where they will be asked for organization code. After entering the correct organization code, they will be redirected to the SAML URL for authentication.
  • QMetry Authenticated Users should use URL https://testmanagement.qmetry.com/#/login, they will be directed to the above QMetry default login screen. Through the default login screen, user with QMetry authentication can login.

Note: Users used for Jira integration should be a QMetry authenticated user.



Click Submit. It navigates you to the IDP SSO Provider site.

The login screen of Identity SSO Provider opens. Provide your Username and Password here. Once your credentials are authenticated, you are navigated to QMetry application as a user with SAML authentication.


For Server :You will

  • SAML Autheticated Users should use URL as https://<yourqmetryserverurl>, they will  be directed to the their SSO login page
