Troubleshooting Integration Configuration

Points 1a and 1b are mandatory pre-requisites to set up the Azure integration. Without these, the integration will not work properly.

  1. Go to Azure User Settings > Personal Access Tokens, and ensure the following for the tokens generated to integrate with QMetry.

    1. Personal Access Token scope should be “Full Access“ and has not expired.

    2. The Azure user sharing the above Personal Access Token is required to have “Project Administrator“ access for all the projects that you wish to integrate with QMetry. Verify this under Azure Organization Settings > Users > Manage User > Project Administrator

    3. In case any changes are made or a new token is generated in case of the above inconsistency, re-integrate the Azure and QMetry with the new personal access token. Go to QMetry > Integration > Integration Configurations > Azure. Replace the newly generated personal access token; Test and Save. Refer Configure Azure in QMetry page for detailed steps.

  2. Run one-time force sync under QMetry for the integrated Azure Project.

    • Go to Projects > Project/Release/Cycle > select project > edit > Integration tab.

    • Expand the Azure integration, select the check box against the Azure Project and click sync.

    • Go to Integrations > Integration Scheduler Status > wait for a few minutes for the sync to complete. Check by clicking the refresh button on the top right corner.

  3. After the force sync is complete, edit an issue in Azure. Wait for ~2 minutes after the last update is made to the work item, and check if the updates are reflected in QMetry.
