On upgrading the QMetry application, it is also suggested to upgrade the Jira app (i.e. “Jira Integration - QMetry Enterprise”“QMetry Jira Integration”) to the available compatible latest version. However, it has been observed in the case of a few customers, errors related to the Jira add-on appear in Jira server logs post upgrading the app in Jira. It has been also observed that while it throws the exceptions in the logs it does not seem to be impacting anything in Jira rather than just populating the logs with errors.

  • Go to Jira Settings >Manage Apps > Uninstall the “Jira Integration – QMetry Enterprise” “QMetry Jira Integration” app.

  • Restart Jira.

  • Re-install the “Jira Integration – QMetry Enterprise” “QMetry Jira Integration” app and re-configure it.

  • If restarting Jira does not resolve this, please try the following steps that involve clearing Jira cache and re-indexing.

    • You may want to refer to the Atlassian community or official documentation before following the below steps.

    • These steps might be different depending on the Jira server, installation, or version.

      1. Uninstall the “Jira Integration – QMetry Enterprise” “QMetry Jira Integration” app.

      2. Stop the Jira instance.

      3. Delete just the below two folders (hidden).

      4. Start the Jira instance.

      5. Perform a re-index in Jira.

      6. Re-install and re-configure the QMetry app.
