Cause: In Jira 7.10.0, Atlassian made changed related field configuration.
Solution: Follow the steps to fix this issue.
- Go to Jira Administrator Setting
- Click on Issues
- Open Field Configurations
- Click on Configure for your field configuration
- Find Description field
- Click on Renderers
- Select Wiki Style Renderer
- Click on Update
After these steps, try to create Bug from the execution screen, the description field UI would be seen as below:
