This article is created for MAC users facing an error while opening QAS for the first time after installation.

Symptoms:

When a user tries to open QAS for the first time after installation from a MAC machine, the below error is observed:

Cause/Reason:

There is a warning message due to the missing Security and Privacy system preference mentioned in this article below.

Solution:

• Step 1: On opening the QAS-Mac.dmg file, you will notice the below warning message:

• Step 2: Once you observe the warning message- Go to System Preference > Security and privacy >> General Tab >> Allow app downloaded from, see QAS, and Click "Open Anyway".

  

• Step 3: You may be asked for 1 more confirmation popup, to allow opening QAS. Please make sure QAS should be moved/installed in the Applications folders.
