Registration and installation of QAS on the same machine

The Administrator of the organization can register with QMetry Automation Studio by following the steps mentioned below.

Registration

Step 1: Open the QAS registration page https://www.qmetry.com/qmetry-automation-studio-registration/

As an alternate way, you can follow the steps mentioned below to open the registration page.

1. Open http://www.qmetry.com and go to Products > QMetry Automation Studio.

2. Click on the Try for Free button for QMetry Automation Studio.

Step 2: Fill out the Registration Form for QAS trial.

This will notify our product specialist.

This information will be used by our product specialist to contact you to schedule a demo and assist you with installation-related questions if you have any.

Step 3: Select the day and time for scheduling the demo meeting.

Our Product Specialist will reach out to you to understand your requirements and help you with activating your free trial evaluation and the installation process.

Installation of QMetry Service Manager

QMetry Service Manager is easy to install the application without any external dependencies.

Pre-requisites

• 1.6 GHz or faster processor

• Minimum 8 GB of RAM

Install QMetry Service Manager on Windows

Once you receive the QMetry Server Manager .exe file, follow the steps mentioned below.

1. To initiate the installation of QMetry Server Manager, run the .exe file by clicking on it.

The setup screen pops up.

2. Follow the installation wizard step by step to install QMetry Service Manager on your local machine. Click Next to proceed.

3. Give the Installation Directory path where you want to install QMetry Service Manager. Click Next to proceed.

4. The QMetry Service Manger is now Ready to Install. Click Next to proceed.

You can see the installation process in progress.

5. Select the required option(s) on the wizard.

If you want to launch QAS on the default browser, then it will open in https://qas.qmetry.com.

6. Click Finish.

Install QMetry Service Manager on MAC

Once you receive the QMetry Server Manager .dmg file, follow the steps mentioned below.

1. To initiate the installation of QMetry Server Manager, run the .dmg file by clicking on it.

The setup screen pops up.

2. Follow the installation wizard step by step to install QMetry Service Manager on your local machine. Click Next to proceed.

3. Give the path of the Installation Directory and click Next.

4. Click Next to proceed.

You can see the installation in progress.

5. Select the required option(s) on the wizard.

If you want to launch QAS on the default browser, then it will open in https://qas.qmetry.com.

6. Click Finish.

After following the QMetry Studio Setup Wizard, click on the Try Now button and provide the same email address using which you have registered in order to activate the license.

Follow the steps mentioned below to allow this application to run on Mac. 

Once the QMetry Service Manager is installed, you can see the icon on the taskbar.

Start QMetry Service Manager

Right-click on the icon and select Start.

The service initiates. The Status “Starting” is displayed.

Once the service is started, the Status changes to “Enabled”.

Installing QAS before registration

If you are trying to install QAS (using the downloaded QAS file in the section above) without registering on the QMetry website, follow the steps mentioned below.

Once installed, right-click on the QMetry Service Manager icon and select Subscription. The Subscription Details screen appears.

There are two ways you can activate QAS:

(A) Free Trial

(B) Using the Activation Key

(A) Free Trial

Step 1: For a free trial, click on the Try Now button in the corresponding section.

Step 2: Enter the following details. You will be asked to provide your organization’s email address to start the evaluation version of QAS.

The pop-up with Subscription details appears.

Step 3: Activate your account.

Note: If you have not registered through the QMetry website, activate your account by using the Activation Link sent to your registered email address.

You will receive an activation link on your registered email address to complete your activation. 

Step 4: Then restart QAS.

The subscription details will appear as follows. Once your subscription is active, you will be able to start using QAS.

(B) Using the Activation Key

If the license key is shared with you, then you can enter the key to activate QAS and click on the Activate Now button.

The success message pops up.
