Integration with Cloud Providers

In QAS, you can carry out test executions on Local and Cloud Platforms. In-built capabilities are available for Cloud Platforms like LambdaTest, SauceLabs, Browserstack, and Kobiton. You do not have to do separate integrations to perform the remote execution.

Moreover, the Profiles are configurable which allows you to add more parameters to the profile and edit existing configurations of the profile.

For example,

A new Profile QA_Lambda is created with “Chrome” Profile Type and “LambdaTest” as Platform Provider.

Enable the Profile to utilize it for test execution.

Now, you want to modify the configuration further for this profile. Just click on the Key of the profile the configuration of which you want to edit.

Once the Profile page opens, you can see the description on the header with further reference to LambdaTest Automation Capabilities Generator.

The page lists out the existing capabilities of the LambdaTest Cloud Grid. You can edit the values of the parameters as per requirement. You can also add new parameters in the Profile just by adding them inline.

Modify the remote.server as “https://hub.lambdatest.com/wd/hub“.

To add additional settings for the profile, go to the Additional Settings section at the bottom.

Let us configure LambdaTest Options in Additional Settings. For that, click on LT:Options.

It further drills down to show the parameters related to LambdaTest.

You can edit the values of username, accessKey and platformName parameters. You can also add required properties from the list that populates inline.

Once the Profile is enabled, you can view it on the list of Profiles when you go for test Dry Run.

Once the Dry Run is successfully completed you can view the automation log/recorded execution in Lambda Test Automation section.
