Troubleshoot

The following are some basic troubleshooting points:

QMetry Service Manager is taking more time to get enabled

Solution: For the first-time use, QSM might take little bit more time than usual to get started. Please allow a couple of minutes for it to get Enabled. From next time onwards, it will get started within less time.

While creating license using ‘Try Free' option, 'customer already registered' warning message is coming

Solution: It might be possible that you have already registered yourself before in our website for QAS (or QTM/QTM4J). For creating license using ‘Try Now’ option, you now need to provide the exact same email id, which you had used earlier while registering in website. Alternatively, you can use the other option ‘Activate Now’ to enter the Activation key for creating your License. You can get in touch with QAS support team via https://qmetrysupport.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/50 to get the Activation Key for your account.

While trying to Authorize in QAS site getting ‘Connection Failed’ message

Solution: Most probably you might have not started your QMetry Service Manager. Please start your QSM and wait for it to get Enabled, after that you will be able to Authorize QAS without any error. If you are still facing same issue even after QSM status is Enabled, then hard refresh your browser, your issue should be resolved.

QAS version download getting stuck while doing Check for Updates

Solution:

You can download/install it from below links instead:

When the record button is clicked, Google Chrome pops up twice and closes itself

  • Verify the current version of your local Chrome Browser. Ensure that it is up to date with the latest version. If not, proceed to update the browser and then relaunch it.

  • Locate the reference path for checking the availability of the most recent Chrome Driver. The available Chrome Driver version should be older than the latest one. Path- C:\Users\mdrajib.ali\.cache\selenium\chromedriver\win32.

  • Delete the existing old Chrome Driver from the above path.

Note: Prior to deletion, make sure to terminate any active Chrome Driver services through the Task Manager, to avoid potential errors.

  • Place the downloaded Chrome Driver inside the earlier Folder.

Following the modifications mentioned earlier, proceed to restart your Qmetry Service Manager. Then, attempt to record or execute a test case, and it should perform as intended.
