How to use Exploratory Testing ?

Add - QMetry Test Management Exploratory Testing extension from the Chrome, Firefox, or Edge Browser or by navigating to QMetry > Exploratory Testing section

Once the QMetry Exploratory Testing extension is added to your Chrome, Firefox, or Edge browser, here are the steps to use the exploratory testing feature of QMetry:

Log into the tool using your exploratory API key & QMetry URL.

Once you’re logged in, select the Project from the drop-down, specify a session name, and click on Start Recording.

Now, perform the actions that you wish to test. At any point in time, if you want to log defects, go ahead and click on the Log Defect button.

Once the session is completed click on the Stop icon to end the recording. Now to view the session in QMetry, go to QMetry ⟶ Exploratory Testing

Click on the recorded session and you can opt to create a Test Case or Test Suite and also do the executions with all the data recorded in the session.
