Incident: QMetry Insights, Advance Query Reports gadgets, and dashboards on the cloud do not sync the current data and may be inaccessible This issue is affecting QMetry Test Management Cloud customers.

Users may observe one or both of the issues listed below.

  1. The current data in QMetry will not appear synced under Custom Gadgets or Dashboards.

  2. Error: Oh snap! Data syncing is in progress, please try after some time - while accessing Visual Reports or Advance Query reports section, gadgets, or dashboards.

The custom reports and dashboards might be inaccessible or not appear to sync the latest data. Our teams are investigating this on a high priority.

  • The issue with custom report gadgets and dashboards not being accessible has been resolved, and live sync of data has been restored.

  • The data sync from the time the reports stopped working: In progress

 

Root Cause (RCA) and Fix

There was a resource allocation problem on the server. We have added better monitoring to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
