How to move shareable test cases within the same project and across projects?

In QMetry, test cases, both regular and shareable, can be copied or moved between folders with ease. Users have the option to copy or move test cases either individually or in bulk.

Within the Same Project

Note:

Move: Linkages for shareable test cases remain intact when moved within the same project.
Copy: Linkages are not retained when copying shareable test cases within the same project.

Users can move individual test cases within the current project by selecting the test case and choosing the target folder.

Steps:

Navigate to the Test Cases module.
Apply the filter by selecting "Show Only Shareable" to display shareable test cases.
Click the cog icon next to the desired test case.
Choose either Move or Copy from the options.
Select the target folder as the destination.
Click on Copy or Move based on the operation you wish to perform.

Across Projects:

Users can move multiple test cases at once, either within the same project or across different projects, by selecting the desired test cases and specifying the destination folder. The steps for copying/moving bulk test cases (Shareable or Regular) are depicted below.

Note:

Move: Linkages for shareable test cases are maintained, but a new STC key is generated as per the destination project.
Copy: Linkages are not retained when copying shareable test cases to a different project.
