How to get Account ID of a user?
While importing Test case in QMetry for Jira v4.x there are fields - Assignee and Reporter. Due to GDPR changes user can not pass username or name in these fields. They can only pass Account ID of Assignee and Reporter user in this field. Below are the steps on how to get that account id for a user.
- Login to your Jira URL.
- Browse https://<Jira base URL>/rest/api/2/user/search?query=
- For example, if your Jira base URL is https://abc.atlassian.net then the API would be https://abc.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/user/search?query=
- Find accountId of the respective user by searching name/email address
