How to Create/Edit/Copy/Delete Component?

Follow the below-mentioned steps to Create/Edit/Delete the Component.

(Note: Only project administrators can add, remove, and update components.)

To Create Component:

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Component >> Fill in the required information like the Component name, and Description then click on Add button.

To Edit Component:

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Component >>Click on a custom component to edit.

To Copy Component (To Other QMetry-Enabled Projects):

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Component >> Select the component which needs to be copied. The Copy button is now available as in the below screenshot:

• Select the destination project and the component will be available for use.

To Delete Component:

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Component >> Click on the delete icon to delete the created Component.

You can not delete a Component if it is associated with any QMetry issue. You need to delete/remove those issues/entities first to delete the Component.
