Edge - How to unblock third-party cookies?

The QTM4J plugin requires third-party cookies for website rendering and storing user preference data. If the third-party cookies are blocked by the Chrome web browser, users will not be able to access the QMetry Test Management for Jira screens and will observe a blank screen. Here is the screenshot of the issue where the screen is blank due to blocked third-party cookies in the Edge Browser.

Steps to unblock third-party cookies:

Option 1: Unblock all third-party cookies

  1. Click on browser settings and select “Settings” as shown in the below screenshot:

  2. Now select “Cookies and site permissions” from the settings menu and select “Manage and delete cookies and site data” as shown in the below screenshot:

3. Unblock all third-party cookies

4. Reload the QMetry Test Management tab of your browser. You will now be able to view all the screens in QMetry.

Option 2: If you do not want to enable all third-party cookies, you can add your Jira base URL and qtmcloud.qmetry.com to the sites that can use third-party cookies.

  1. Navigate to browser settings and select “Cookies and site permissions” from the settings menu. Click on the Add button available on the “Allow” section as shown in the below screenshot:

2. Add your Jira base URL and qtmcloud.qmetry.com to the sites that can use third-party cookies as shown in the screenshots below:
