(Server) Solution : Unable to Use Backslash in textbox

Symptoms:

There is a discrepancy in saving details for test step data when a backslash "\" is used. Some characters are used in the wiki markup body making them unusable by default. Using these characters in your pages doesn't work. Refer to the below screenshots:

Cause:

This is a known technical limitation of the Jira editor that QMetry uses. QMetry uses Jira’s editor which is available for third-party apps. The backslash used in the wiki markup body makes it unusable by default.

Here are the details of the limitation.

Temporary Solution:

Utilize a code block to use the backslash in your text.

Permanent Solution: As the solution is not available for the Jira editor side, we are checking the feasibility of permanently fixing the issue from the QMetry’s side.
