How to view and edit custom fields on the test execution screen

If a tester wants to add any additional details specific to execution, then they can utilize the custom fields that are available on the execution screen to capture these details during execution. The execution custom fields are available on both the Grid and the List views of the execution screen.

Prerequisite: The custom field should be created under the Configuration> Custom Fields > Test Execution custom field tab. Refer to this article for the steps to create custom fields.

Follow the below steps to view/edit custom field values on the test execution screen:

Grid View:

Step 1: In grid view, select the test case from the left panel for which you would like to edit the custom field value.
Step2: Click on the “Execution Custom Fields” tab on the right-side panel to enter the details as shown in the below screenshot:

List View:

Step 1: Expand the test case which needs custom field value to be updated.

Step2: Use the “Execution Custom Fields” section to enter the value as shown in the below screenshot:
