Test Cycle Execution Summary Tabular View

For QA managers who want to view the detailed executions of multiple test cycles, the execution summary tabular view column will help to get a quick glance at the test cycle module.

Advantages:

  • This column when introduced will contain the bifurcation of all the test cases linked to the test cycle based on their execution results. The test case count along with the percentage (relative to the total count of test cases in the test cycle) against each execution result will be displayed on the test cycle grid.

  • This column also saves switching between the test reports and test cycle modules as it helps to fetch these details from the test cycle grid view itself.

  • The QA manager stays updated with all the details of the latest test execution without navigating to each and every test cycle.

Kindly follow the below steps to enable the execution summary (tabular) view column:

Step 1: In the test cycle module, click on Hide/Show/Re-arrange Columns option and select the “Execution Summary (Tabular) column and click on the Done button as shown in the below screenshot:

Step 2: You will be able to view the execution summary tabular view on the test cycle grid view as shown in the below screenshot:

Additional Information:

  • The executions displayed are the latest execution of the test cycle.

  • These test cycles can be later filtered for reporting purposes.

  • This column is also available on the Confluence Integration app as shown in the below screenshot:

For QTM4J Server/Datacenter editions, the execution summary tabular view column is also available under the test plan > test cycle tab as shown in the below screenshot:
