How to get Console/Browser logs for the QTM4J Confluence Integration app?

Open the JIRA confluence page where QMetry assets are present and follow the steps below based on the supported browsers installed on your system.

Please Note: QMetry Test Management for the Jira app supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge browsers only. Currently, browsers like Safari, Opera, etc are not supported. 


Google Chrome

  1. Go to Google Chrome options (Click on the ellipses in the upper right corner).

  2. Go to More Tools > Developer Tools (Or press F12 if you are using Windows).

  3. Go to Console > Enable Log XMLHttpRequests (As shown in the below image) > Reproduce the issue.

  4. Right-click on the output window > Click on "Save as"

  5. Save the file and send it to QMetry Support.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Go to the Application menu by clicking on the Hamburger Icon in the upper right corner

  2. Click on More tools > Web developer tools (Or press F12 if you are using Windows).

  3. Click on the Console tab > Enable the XHR tab (as shown in the image below) > Reproduce the issue.

  4. Right-click on the output window > “Save All Messages to File”.

  5. Save the Text File and send it to QMetry Support.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Go to the options (Click on the ellipses in the upper right corner).

  2. Go to More Tools > Developer Tools (Or press F12 if you are using Windows)

  3. Go to Console > Enable Log XMLHttpRequests (As shown in the below image) > Reproduce the issue.

  4. Right-click on the output window > Click on "Save as"

  5. Save the file and send it to QMetry Support.
