Comments and Attachments in Test Case

Comments

Adding comments to a test asset is a useful way to record additional detail about a test asset, and collaborate with your QA team members. Wiki markup editor is provided to enter comments with different text formats. Comments are shown in the Comments tab on the details page when you view a test case.

A. Add Comments

  1. Click on the Add Comment button.

  2. A blank box appears. Enter comments in the box. It has Wiki markup editor. Refer to Text Formatting for more details on using the editor features.

  3. Click Save to save the comment.

 

B. Edit Comment

Click on the Edit for the comment that you want to edit. The box appears in editable mode. Make required changes and save.

C. Delete Comment

Click on the Delete for the comment that you want to delete.

Attachments

Open the Attachments tab. Upload the file you want to add as an attachment to the test case.

You can upload multiple files at a time as attachment. Size and Created On are displayed for respective attachments.

 

Delete Attachments:

  • To delete a single attachment click on the Delete icon for individual attachment.

  • To delete multiple attachments at a time, select the attachments you want to delete and click on the Bulk Delete button.
