Add Jira issue in existing Cycles

1. Open the Jira issue detail page.

2. Under Test Case/Acceptance Criteria panel, click on the ellipsis (...) icon.

3. Select Reuse Test Cycle.

The Add to Test Cycle screen opens. It displays test cycles you created in the QMetry for Jira Add-on.

If the test cycle list is long, apply filters to the list. You can filter records through search.

A. You can browse test cycles as per folders on the tree. It will help you narrow down the search.

B. You can search a particular test cycle by "Key" or “Summary” through the search box.

C. There are more options like Priority, Status and Fix Versions to narrow down the search.

4. Select the test cycle you want to add the Jira issue to and click Submit.

The test cycle is added to all the test cases on the Jira issue page.

When you add a Jira issue to a test cycle, all the test cases associated with that Jira issue will be linked to the test cycle automatically.

Open the test cycle detail page and open the Test Cases tab to view the test cases linked to the test cycle.

Whereas, the Story tab of the test cycle displays the Jira issue linked to the test cycle.
