Users can share test reports through the shareable URL so that teammates can access and view the reports. The user who has generated the report can share it with other users by copying the URL and sending it to other users. Other users, with whom the report URL has been shared, can paste the URL on the browser page and view the report.

Pre-requisites:

• To generate the reports, users should have the Report module permissions.

• To view the shared reports using the shared URL, users should have been logged into the same QTM4J server instance.

Shared Reports

• The shared report will appear in accordance with the filters applied to it by the report creator.

• The shared report will be read-only for the users with whom it has been shared. This report cannot be edited.

• The shared report can be exported in Excel.

Steps to Share Report URL

1. Once you generate the report with the required filters on it, click on the Share button to get its URL.

2. A box with a URL opens, click Copy to copy the URL.

Once the URL is copied successfully, the success message is displayed on the box.

3 . Now send this URL to other users whom you want to access the report.

Recipients of the report URL can paste the URL on the browser page and view the report.

Note: The user who uses the URL should have logged into the same QTM4J server instance.

The shared report displays the project name and report criteria/filters that are used to generate the report. Users can view the report in chart and tabular formats, and can also export the report in Excel.
