How to get HAR / Network logs?

Note: QMetry for Jira Test Management add-on supports Microsoft Edge, Chrome and Firefox browsers only. Currently, browsers like Safari, Opera etc are not supported. 

For Chrome Browser

  • Open browser - chrome > Open Jira.
  • Go to Chrome options (3 vertical dots on the upper right corner).
  • Go to More tools > Developer Tools (Or press F12 if you are using windows).
  • Go to Network > Reproduce the issue.
  • Right-click on the output window (As shown in below image) > Click on "Save as HAR with Content".
  • Save the HAR file and send to QMetry Support.


For Firefox Browser

  • Open browser - Firefox > Open Jira.
  • Press F12
  • Go to Network > Reproduce the issue.
  • Right click on the output window (As shown in below image in 6th steps) > Click on "Save as HAR with Content".
  • Save the HAR file and send to QMetry Support.

For Internet Microsoft Edge

  • In Internet Explorer- press F12 or go to the Tools menu and select F12 Developer Tools
  • Select the Network tab and reproduce the issue.
  • Save the logs (Export HAR log) and send it to QMetry Support.
