Summary: New Features

Manage Test Case View Improvements

  •  

    • Personalize test case view by choosing more columns and rearranging them.

    • Quick in place edit of test case summary and steps details.

    • Sort folders alphabetically or by created date.

    • Test cases can be sorted by columns available on the screen.

    • Copy folders along with test cases.

    • Clone test cases directly using the cog button.

    • Added Copy folders and Copy Folder Path options on right click menu.

    • Delete folder provides an option to move test cases to a chosen folder.

    • See the latest execution result of the test case on the view.

    • Search test cases by Folder while adding them to test run, story and test scenario.

General Improvements

    • Import/Export tool now export & import test cases along with the folder path.

    • Jira permissions of users can now be applied in QMetry from configuration settings.

Automation Improvements

  •  

    • Added ability to update, replace or keep steps while reusing test cases when importing through automation API.

    • Added support for Maven command line arguments. QMetry properties can be passed using Maven command line.

    • Ability to upload attachment via Maven. Supported for Cucumber and QAS frameworks.
