Creating Test Steps without Test Cases

QMetry Test Management for JIRA allows users to write Test Steps directly without having them create Test Cases. It creates dummy Test Cases automatically when user creates Test Scenario under a Story in hierarchy.

The system has been made user friendly for new users as well as users who do not have Test Cases in practice.

These dummy Test Cases are created automatically by the system with Summary as “Enter Test Case”. Such type of Test Cases are identified with their IDs in JIRA. User can give a proper name to the Test Cases afterwards, if they wish so.

The following image shows the hierarchy of Test Scenario > Test Case > Test Steps at Story level.
