JIRA Capture

QMetry Test Management Add-on can be easily integrated with Capture for JIRA that allows you to create JIRA issues directly from within the web application that you are testing.

Once you install the Capture for JIRA extension to your browser, click the Capture for JIRA icon beside the address bar.

It opens the pane at right for JIRA login.

Once you log into JIRA, you will able to see the Issues tab.

To create an issue, select required Project and fill other details like other issues you create usually.

You can take screenshot of the page currently open and also annotate the screenshot to add remarks like any other image editor. The screenshot is automatically attached to the issue being created.

Click the Create Issue button. For more information, refer to Capture for JIRA Documentation.

An issue is created in JIRA and a link to it is displayed in Capture at right.

Clicking on the link opens the issue in JIRA. The Attachments section of the issue displays screenshots taken by JIRA Capture.
