How to use forgot password option in QMetry for login?

In case you forget your login password, you can set a new password from the QMetry login page. To reset the password, you can make use of the “Forgot password?” option (the link is for cloud customers only); it will redirect you to the forgot password web page. 

  1. Enter your Username, Organization Code, and click on the “Get Password Link” button to recover your password details.

  2. If the provided details are valid, the system displays the message “Reset password email has been sent to your registered mail ID”.

  3. You will receive an email containing a link to change your QMetry password.

  4. Clicking on the link, you get redirected to a page to reset your password.

  5. Set the new password and then click on the “Reset Password” button to save the changes and with the updated password you should be able to login to your QMetry account.

Note: 

  • If you are logged in for the first time, then you are prompt to change the password that you received in the email and create one of your choices.

  • If LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) is active in the QMetry instance (under Integration > LDAP/SAML > Integration Setting - LDAP) then the Forget Password link will not be available to the user since it requires login with the username and password allotted through LDAP only.
