Tracking Import Progress
Overview
Import bulk assets from multiple modules, without disrupting your ongoing work. Testers often need to import large volumes of assets like requirements, test cases, test suites, or issues, but can't wait for the process to complete. To help with this, imports run as background jobs, allowing testers to continue their work without interruption.
View Import Progress
Once you initiate the import process, you can check the notification panel for progress updates.
Scheduled Task
The Scheduled Task icon turns Orange whenever any of the following actions is initialized. The icon color changes to the original as soon as you click on it to view the task status.
All bulk operations
Import - Issue, Test Case, Test Suite, Requirement
Export - Issue, Test Case, Test Suite, Requirement, Test execution
Project clone
Click on the Scheduled Task icon in the application header. The Scheduled Task screen shows all the activities completed or in the queue.
The progress bar shows the following statuses:
Status | Description |
|---|---|
Started | It indicates that the import is initialized. |
In-Progress | It indicates that the import process has started and is in progress. |
Completed | It indicates that the intended records of the job are imported, and the import is completed now. |
Failed | It indicates that the entire import has failed due to an error. You can download the Excel file showing errors due to which the task failed. |
