Adding a Priority

Before creating these customize priority, you need to have  'Configuration modify' access to the project where you want to add a is needed to create a customized priority.

Consider you have Example: QA manager has to create a priority 'Critical'. Below are the steps for priority creation:

  1. Navigate to QMetry > Configurations > Select Project.
  2. Under Project Configuration select Priority.
  3. Enter a relevant name, description, Select Icon to represent the priority and click Add. The section is highlighted in below screenshot: 

The Priorities created are available for linking them with Test Case, Test Cycle and Test Plan. 

Adding Custom Icons to Priority

Project admin ('Configuration modify' permission) have rights to delete the custom Priority. The system default Priority can not be deleted.

Below are the steps to delete a priority:

  1. Click the Delete icon for the Priority. 

NoteThe Priority can not be deleted if it is used in any of the test asset
