Follow the below-mentioned steps to Create/Edit/Delete custom status for Test Case/Test Cycle/Test Plan

(Note: Only project administrators can add, remove and update custom status for Test Case)

To create a custom status for Test Case/Test Cycle/Test Plan

To create a custom status for Test Case/Test Cycle/Test Plan

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Status >>Test Case Status/Test Cycle Status/Test Plan Status>> Fill in the required information like status name, description, and color then click on the Add button. 

• Once created, the status of the newly created priority is set as “Active”.

To edit custom status for Test Case/Test Cycle/Test Plan:

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Status >> Test Case Status/Test Cycle Status/Test Plan Status>> Click on custom status to edit.

To archive custom status for Test Case/Test Cycle/Test Plan:

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Status >> Test Case Status/Test Cycle Status/Test Plan Status>> Click on custom status to archive.

Once the custom status is archived, the status column is set to “Archive”

To delete custom status for Test Case/Test Cycle/Test Plan:

• Select your Project >> Status >> Test Case Status/Test Cycle Status/Test Plan Status>> Click on custom status to edit.

To archive custom status for Test Case/Test Cycle/Test Plan:

• Go to the QMetry  >> Configuration.

• Select your Project >> Status >> Test Case Status/Test Cycle Status/Test Plan Status>> Click on custom status to archieve it.

After archiving the custom status, you can move ahead with the delete option as shown in the below screenshot
