QMetry allows its users to export test suite details out of QMetry in Excel file format and save the file on to the computer hard drive. Users with a User Role that has “Export” rights assigned for the Test Suite module can export test suites. Role based user access control for the module is managed under User Management Customization > Roles.If the role assigned to the user does not have rights to export test suites, the Export option will appear in the disabled mode for that user.

4. Click on the cog icon at the top right corner on the toolbar and select Bulk Operation Export.

The next screen opens with the list of operations.

Step 1: Choose Operation: Select Export as XLSX/CSV and click Next.

Step 2 Select records: Select test suites you want to export. Once you are done with selecting test suites, click Next.

Export All Records: Click on the Export All Records link to select all the records across pages to export.

Click Next.

Step 3 Test Suite Export Options

Select options to export the test suitesuites.

In all option options except 'Exporting Test Suite list summary view', only Test Suites having 'Project', 'Phase' and 'Platform' will be exported, others will be skipped.

Custom fields will also be exported if these fields are enabled in case of the Visible Fields option. Else, custom fields will always be exported in case of the All Fields option.

A message pops up to view the notification for the export progress. You can view the progress in the notification window on the application header. This allows scheduled exports to run in the background and allows users to continue with their other work.

Go to the Scheduled Tasks section, to download the exported test suites.
