Import - Export

The Import and Export features help you manage large volumes of test assets efficiently. You can import bulk assets from Excel and export reports in Word or PDF.

Admins can manage Import and Export permissions for individual modules by configuring role-based rights in the Roles section.

Why should I import and export test assets?

Organizations often manage requirements and test cases externally in spreadsheets. Import and export features help streamline the transition of these assets:

Bulk Import of Requirements
Teams that maintain requirements in Excel can import them in bulk using the import feature. This eliminates the need for manual entry and ensures consistency across records.
Offline Updates and Re-import
Users can export test assets, make updates offline, and re-import the modified file into QMetry. This is useful for batch updates or collaborative review outside the system.
Centralized Access to Test Cases
For test cases managed in Excel, organizations can import them in bulk. The import functionality supports large volumes, helping users migrate or consolidate test cases efficiently.
