Users can use one of the below specified methods to login into Import/Export utility if their Cloud Jira Accounts are configured using SSO based authentication.
Method 1 : Using API tokens
Step 1: Create an API token for your Atlassian account:
Log in to https://id.atlassian.com. Click API tokens, then Create API token.
Copy the api token.
- For security reasons it isn't possible to view the token after closing the creation dialog; if necessary, create a new token.
- You should store the token securely, just as for any password.
Step 2: Go to Import/Export Utility. Provide User Name and Password as below :
User Name : Email Id
Password : API token generated in step 1.
You should be able to log in Import/Export Utility.
Method 2 : Using Atlassian account Password.
Step 1: Go to https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword. Enter your email address and submit.
Enter the password you would like to use for the QMetry import/export tool.
Step 2: Go to Import/Export Utility. Provide User Name and Password as below :
User Name : Jira User ID
Password : Password generated in step 1.
You should be able to log in Import/Export Utility.
