Generate API Key
For Automation in QMetry, QMetry requires an API key and user credentials. The API key is unique to a User and Project.
The API key is required while running automation via the following ways :
- Import Results using Automation API
- Import Test Results using Maven
- Import Results Using Jenkins Plugin
- Import Results using Bamboo Plugin
Steps to Generate API key
- Go to QMetry Menu > Automation
2. Select the project the automation test results of which you want to import into Jira.
3. Select Getting Started > API Key > Generate
4. The key will be generated and displayed on the screen. To copy it click on the 'copy' button.
5. If you want to regenerate the API key for any reason, click the icon adjacent to the current API Key.
Where to find the already generated Automation API key
- Go to QMetry Menu > Automation > Getting Started > API Key.
2. Click 'copy' to copy the API key.
