Issue Type

The flexibility to enable/disable QMetry add-on features with a particular Issue Type in JIRA is add under QTM Configurations.

This configuration at Issue Type level is applicable to all Projects in JIRA.

If Disabled, the QTM add-on features will not be available to use with that particular Issue Type for all the Projects that exist in JIRA.

Note: Only JIRA Admin can configure availability of QTM Add-on features with JIRA Issue Types.


A. Search Issue Type: In case the Issue Type list is long, you can search a particular Issue Type by typing its name in the Search box.

B. Show Rows: Set the number of rows to be displayed on one page. The pagination at the bottom depends upon the rows set to display.

C. How to disable QMetry Add-on Features for an Issue Type?

The table displays the list of Issue Types with flags indicating whether the QMetry Add-on Features are “Enabled” or “Disabled” for each Issue Type.

The Actions column has toggle option to Enable or Disable the QMetry Add-on Features for the Issue Type in the row.

To disable the QMetry Add-on Features for the Issue Type with “Enabled” flag, just click Disable under the Actions column.

The confirmation message pops up. Click the Disable button after reading the message.

The QMetry Add-on Features turn disabled for the Issue Type.


Impact

The QMetry add-on features will not be available for that particular Issue Type. The Test Scenario/Acceptance Criteria panels will not be visible after the Description section. Also, if the Issue Type is "Bug", then the Traceability tab will not be available.
