Enable QMetry Settings for Jira Next-Gen Project
Permissions required to enable QMetry Settings in Next-Gen Project
Permissions required to enable the QMetry settings in Next-Gen Project are based on the Project access type and user role.
To enable the QMetry settings in Next-Gen Project, either of the following conditions should be fulfilled.
A. For Open access to the project, Jira users should possess 'Administer Project' and 'Browse Projects' permissions for the project OR
B. For Private/Limited access to the project, users should have Administrator rights.
Steps
Open the Project drop-down and go to the Next-Gen project.
2. Select Project Settings on the navigation bar.
3. Select Access.
The Project Access page opens. It shows the Project access type you have on the project.

To enable the QMetry settings in Next-Gen Project, either of the following conditions should be fulfilled.
A. For Open access to the project, Jira users should possess 'Administer Project' and 'Browse Projects' permissions for the project OR
B. For Private/Limited access to the project, users should have Administrator rights.

A. Project with Open access will behave like any other software project in Jira and users can enable the QMetry Settings for the project.

B. For Projects with Private/Limited access rights, the user should be added as an Administrator to the project.
Enable QMetry Project Settings
Follow the steps mentioned below to enable the QMetry Project Settings in the Next-Gen project of Jira.
Steps
1. Open the Project drop-down and go to the Next-Gen project.
2. Select Project Settings on the navigation bar.
3. Select Apps.
4. Select QMetry project settings.
It opens the QMetry Project Settings screen. Enable QMetry Test Management for Jira.

Enable QMetry Permissions
Follow the steps mentioned below to enable QMetry Permissions in the Next-Gen project of Jira.
Steps
1. Open the Projects drop-down and go to the Next-Gen project.
2. Select Project Settings on the navigation bar.

3. Select Apps.
4. Select QMetry permissions.
It opens the QMetry Permissions screen. Enable the Permissions.
