Open API Key

Starting December 5, 2025 (QMetry Test Management for Jira v4.15.1), the QMetry Test Management for Jira documentation moved from its location on Atlassian to a dedicated, standalone QMetry Test Management for Jira documentation page. For the latest updates, refer to Open API Key.

Open API key is used for authentication while using QMetry Open API. Please note that this API key is different than the API key of the Automation API.

Generate API key

  1. Go to QMetry menu > Configuration > Select Project.

  2. Click on the Open API section.

  3. Generate the API key.

     4. Copy generated API key and use while executing the Open API.
