How to add Story issue to Test Case?
QMetry provides multiple options to link Story (Issues types) to Test Case. Here are all the options to achieve the use case :
Adding Story issue from the Test Case issue detail page.
Open the Test Case on which you want to link Story.
Click on the Story tab > select the Link Stories option. This will open up a window to select the Story Issues.
Select the Story > click on Link & Close Button.
Adding a Test Case from the Story issue detail page.
Go to the Story issue detail page, Test Case/Acceptance Criteria, and click on the ellipses (...) option.
Select the Link New Test Case option if you want to add/create a new Test Case.
Select the Link Existing Test Cases option if you want to link the existing Test Case.
Enable/Disable Test Case/Acceptance Criteria panel.
To enable or disable the Test Case/Acceptance Criteria panel on the Story Detail page, follow the steps mentioned below.
Go to story issue details > click on the ellipses(...)
Click on the options Test Case/Acceptance. The section will appear and users can link the Test Cases.
Adding Story issue of other projects to the Test Case.
Open QMetry menu > Test Management.
Open your Test Case on which you want to link the Story from other projects.
Click on the Story tab > select Link Stories option.
Select the project from which you wish to link the Story to the Test Case.
Select the Story > click on Link & Close Button.
