How to export QMetry Test Cases from one Jira instance to another? (Cloud)

Follow the below steps to copy/export QMetry Test Cases from one Jira instance to another.

Note: 

• QMetry Test Management for Jira app should be installed on both source project instances and target project instances.

• QMetry Test Management for Jira feature (Project Settings > QMetry Project Settings) should be enabled for both source project instance and target project instance.

• If the Permissions feature is enabled for the target project instance, the user must have the Import permission (Project Settings > QMetry Permissions) for the project on the other QMetry Test Management for Jira instance.

Steps:

• Go to QMetry Test Management > Select the Test Cases which you want to copy.

• Click on the Export > Export to Other QMetry Instance option from the drop-down as shown in the below screenshot.     

Open

• On the Export to Other QMetry instance pop-up, enter your Email ID, Base URL, and API token. (Click here to generate the API token)

• On the next screen, select the additional details and Test Case version.

• Now, select the Target project, folder, sprint, fix version, and Assignee for the Test Cases from another Jira instance and select Start Export.
