Text Formatting
You can write test cases and test steps in Wiki markup editor. The editor allows you to add the following attributes to the field.
The rich text editor is also available on custom fields with the type Multi-Line Textbox. The feature is available on the test case, test cycle, test plan Create and Detail page, Exploratory Testing Create Test Case page and Execution custom fields.
A. Text: Apply all the standard formatting options available in other editors. You can add emphasis to your text with formatting such as italics, bold, underline, apply color and alignment to the text.
B. Links: Select some text, or position your cursor where you want to insert the link. You can also use keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+K
C. Images: When users want to add an image or screenshot as a thumbnail to the large text fields of test assets, then this option can be used. For existing test steps, users can add image through the attachment icon for the step as well as from the image option provided in all the editor boxes.
The feature is available for Test Case (Description, Precondition, Step Fields, Comment and Actual Outcome fields), Test Cycle (Description and Comment fields), Test Plan (Description and Comment fields) and Test Cycle Execution (Test Case Comment, Test Step Actual Result, Test Step Comment).
There are different ways available to add images to the test assets. You can -
copy image and paste it into the editor
upload image in editor
mention image URL in the editor
Images added in test asset editor and test step editor, through copy & paste or upload option, will also be shown in the Attachment tab of the test asset.
Note: The maximum size allowed for individual file is 25 MB. The file size uploaded here will be considered in Storage Tier. If the Storage Tier runs out of free space, users can not upload attachments.
To add an image in the editor, select the Image icon on the menu in the editor.
The different ways to add image are described below.
Known Limitation: The uploaded image remains center-aligned by default. Currently, other alignment options do not work due to the limitation of Wiki markup format.
(A) Copy and Paste Images: You can copy the image and just paste it directly into the editor.
(B) Upload Images: To upload images, you can either drag & drop the image
