Steps to Reproduce

The Steps to Reproduce panel is available on the Jira Issue page. When a bug is linked to the test case/test step from the execution screen, the panel is displayed for Jira Issue types which are mapped as Bug under QMetry Project Settings.

When a bug is added from the execution screen, users can see the relevant details under the Steps to Reproduce panel on the issue details page.

If a bug is created from the test case level of the execution screen, then it will copy Test Cycle key & Summary, Test Case key & Summary, Environment, Build, Execution Assignee, Execute by, Execution Result of Test Case in the Steps to Reproduce panel.
If a bug is created from test step level of the execution screen, then it will copy step data along with above mentioned details in the Steps to Reproduce panel. It contains all the details till the step from where the bug is logged.
You can add/update the details in the Steps to Reproduce panel on the Jira issue page.
If a bug is linked from multiple steps in the test case, the panel displays details as per the step it first linked to. For example, if a bug is linked to Step 2. The Steps to Reproduce panel displays details of Step 2. Now when the bug is linked to Step 4, the panel will display the same details of Step 2. You can edit the Steps to Reproduce panel to add/edit more details.
If a bug is linked to multiple test cases, the panel displays details as per the test case it first linked to. You can edit the Steps to Reproduce panel to add/edit more details.
If a bug is created in Jira separately without any association with test execution in QMetry Test Management for Jira, then the Steps to Reproduce panel displays the message accordingly. If this issue is linked from the execution screen afterward, the Steps to Reproduce panel displays the details of the test case, test step and test cycle accordingly.

Enable Steps to Reproduce panel

Open the logged Jira bug/issue details page.
Open the more button and click on the Steps to Reproduce option to add the section to the screen.

The Steps to Reproduce section is added to the issue details page.
